Terms of use

Version 2.0 · Last updated 6 November 2026 · Governing law: Gibraltar

Any agreement for work is between you and the provider. Listo is not a party to it and does not supervise the work.

Proposed update

Draft wording, pending legal review. This is not legal advice and is not yet in force.

Contact details

You must give a valid email address and mobile phone number when you register. We check the format of your phone number only; we don’t verify it by SMS or call. Your email address and phone number are private and are never shown on your public profile, on task pages or in search.

WhatsApp after a quote is accepted

When a client accepts a provider’s quote, each of them can open a WhatsApp chat with the other from Listo. Before a quote is accepted, phone numbers are not shared. WhatsApp is a separate service run by a third party; Listo isn’t responsible for conversations or agreements made there.

Recommendations

Clients can recommend a provider through a single-use link connected to an accepted quote. A recommendation shows the label “Recommendation linked to an accepted quote”. This means the client accepted that quote on Listo; it does not mean Listo has checked that work was done or its quality. Providers must not submit recommendations for clients or ask clients for their link. We may remove recommendations that break these terms. Star ratings given before this change are no longer shown publicly.

Private issue reports

A client can tell us privately about a problem using the link on the recommendation page. These reports go only to the Listo team, are not published and do not change a provider’s public profile. We may use them to enforce these terms.
